Mrs. Adele Blaskow Fountain, 91, of Fairburn, Georgia passed away Monday, October 2, 2017. Mrs. Fountain was born April 18, 1926 in Brooklyn, New York, where she married Charles âChuckâ Bernard Fountain on April 20, 1946 and moved immediately to his home state of Georgia. She served as the administrator and bookkeeper for Fountainâs Nursery and Industrial Lawncare which she and her husband owned and operated. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles âC.B.â âChuckâ Bernard Fountain on July 11, 2012; and a sister, Winifred Smith. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Lynda and Richard Averack of Clarksville, Tress and Frank Nichols of Atlantic Beach, FL, and Janis Fountain of Fairburn; sister, Evelyn Brinkman of New York; brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Virginia Blaskow of Sugar Hill; two grandchildren, Casey Nichols and Mitchell and Drayton Nichols; one great-grandchild, Emma James Nichols and several nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be conducted Sunday, October 22, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Mount Vernon Baptist Church in Fairburn, 5675 Campbellton-Fairburn Highway (Highway 92) Fairburn, Georgia 30213.
