Adell Beatrice Thrasher Pinnell

Mrs. Adell Thrasher Pinnell, 94, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Sunday, November 18, 2007 at A.G. Rhodes Nursing Home. She was born January 17, 1913 in Shawmut, AL the daughter of the late Mr. Andrew Jackson Thrasher and the late Luellen Stanton Thrasher. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Atlanta. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl L. Pinnell; son, Arlin Eugene Pinnell; sisters, Alice, Volva, Audrey and Sally; and brothers, Wade, Luke, George, Otis, and Tom. She is survived by her son, Carl Donald Pinnell of Douglasville; three grandchildren, Wendy Helton, Carl Pinnell and Tara Jones; three great-grandchildren, Nathan Helton, Mandy Helton, and Jacob Jones; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at 11:00 AM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Ivey officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in East Point, Georgia. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Tuesday, November 20, 2007 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
