Mr. Adolphus Monroe “Don” Wright, 66, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2007, at his residence. He was born December 3, 1940 in Rock Mills, Alabama. He was the son of the late Mr. Rufus Monroe Wright and the late Mrs. Nellie Florence Shepherd Wright. Mr. Wright was retired from Simmons Engineering where he worked in research and development in the Poultry Processing industry. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Wright was preceded in death by his sister, Annie Inez Messel. Survivors include his wife, Margaret “Peggy” Newcomb Wright; daughter and son in-law, Penny and Paul Gibson of Villa Rica; son and daughter in-law, Wesley and Becky Wright, Sr. of Villa Rica; sister and brother in-law, Dianne and Doyle Dukes of Bremen; grandchildren, Farrin Pointer, Kim Britt, Beth Head, Wesley Monroe Wright, Jr., Gary David Wright, Aaron Matthew Wright, Josh Hembree, and Zeke Hembree; great-grandchildren, Blake Britt and Gracie Pointer; uncle, Buddy and Levay Wright; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jack and Francis Newcomb of Temple; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, March 29, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Carrollton, Georgia with Father Paul Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery in Carrollton, Georgia. The family will be receiving friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Wednesday, March 28, 2007 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
