Mrs. Eunice Agnes Price Green, age 92 of Lithia Springs, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2019. She was born March 9, 1927 in Randolph County, Alabama, the daughter of the late Mr. Guy Price and the late Mrs. Mae Burrow Price. For over 60 years Agnes resided in Lithia Springs but moved to Ashbrook Village in 2016. Agnes was a school teacher of 31 + years, mostly in Lithia Springs. Her education included graduating from Wadley High and Southern Union College in Alabama, West Georgia College and the University of Georgia. As a member of the Douglas County Retired Educators Agnes served as Membership Chair for almost 20 years. She loved going to Hiawassee, Georgia where she made always made 2 trips a year. Mrs. Green was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Lithia Springs. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Seldon Green; grandson, Bobby Robinson; sister, Mavis Johnson; son-in-law, Carl Manns. Mrs. Green is survived by daughter, Retta Manns of Rennsselaer, Indiana; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Brenda Green of Murrayville, Georgia; sister, Jane Yeackle of Mt. Dora, Florida; brothers and sisters-in-law, Billy and Barbara Price of Birmingham, Alabama, Jimmy and Delores Price of Gautier, Mississippi; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville Thursday, July 25, 2019 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM and Friday, July 26, 2019 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, July 26, 2019 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville with Rev. Kevin McKoy, Bro. Danny Anderson, and Bro. Danny Harrison officiating. Interment will follow at Mellow Valley Cemetery; 1016 School Road; Cratford, Alabama in Clay County, Alabama at 2:30 PM (EST)/1:30 PM (CST) with Bro. Zenus Windsor officiating. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to First Baptist Church of Lithia Springs in her honor.
