Albert "Sonny" D. Bell, Jr.

Mr. Albert “Sonny” Dee Bell, Jr., 75, of Temple, Georgia passed away Monday, August 27, 2007. He was born July 18, 1932 in Atlanta, Georgia; the son of the late Albert Dee Bell, Sr. and Lonie Earnest Bell. Mr. Bell was of the Baptist faith and a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served during the Korean conflict. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Loraine Farmer, Ruby Wallace, Vertie Mae Neal, and Willie Dee Gay; and three brothers, Billy Bell, Hoke Turner, and Robert Bell. Survivors include his wife, Betty Louise McGuire Bell of Temple; daughters and son in-laws, Connie and Pete Stankovich of McDonough; and Karen and Mark Hatley of Douglasville; son and daughter in-law, David and Melissa Bell of Temple; grandchildren, Michael and Laura Weaver, Brian Weaver, Brandon Weaver, Melainie Stankovich, Adam Stankovich, Brittany Bell, Brandy Bell, Bethany Bell, Stephanie Bell and Candice Bell; one sister, Azalea Spearman of Red Oak, one brother and sister in-law, Johnny and Evelyn Bell of Lavonia; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 11:00AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Minister Sam Braswell officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Pete Stankovich, Mark Hatley, Michael Weaver, Brandon Weaver, Brian Weaver, and Randall Wallace. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Tuesday, August 28, 2007 from 5:00PM until 7:00PM. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Newnan, Georgia.
