Alda Fern Wade Priestley Wells

Mrs. Alda Fern Wade Priestley Wells, 58, of Douglasville, formerly of Hamlin, West Virginia passed away Sunday, November 6, 2005 at Wellstar Douglas Hospital in Douglasville, Georgia. She was born December 31, 1946 in Lincoln, West Virginia the daughter of the late Mr. James Ray Wade and Mrs. Azile Nelson Wade. She was a waitress at Shoney’s. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her husband on May 17, 2004, Mr. Douglas Stanley Wells; and one sister, Sandra Wade. Mrs. Wells is survived by her two daughters, Amy Priestley of Carrollton, Lori Smith of Villa Rica; mother, Azile Nelson Wade of Hamlin, West Virginia; sister, Lois Stowers of Florida; brother Boyce Wade of West Virginia and four grandchildren; C.J. Smith, Thomas Bishop, Kaci Michael and Benjamin Bishop. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, November 9, 2005 at 11:00 AM from Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel with the Pastor Steve Swafford officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 8, 2005 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel.
