Mrs. Alfa Jean Baker McMillan, age 76, of Bremen, Georgia passed away Sunday, July 5, 2009 at her residence. She was born August 10, 1932 in Appalachia, Virginia, the daughter of the late Mr. R. B. Baker and the late Mrs. Ella Jane Williams Baker. Mrs. McMillan worked for and retired from Lockheed. She was a member of the First Pentecostal Church of Villa Rica. In addition to her parents, Mrs. McMillan was preceded in death by her first husband, Mr. Aubrey James McMillan and her second husband, Mr. James Armstrong; her brother, Cecil Ray Baker; and her sisters, Frankie Baker and Georgia Beavers. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Tracey McMillan of Bremen; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Doshia and Rev. Homer Roller of Tennessee, June Beasley of Mableton and Rebecca and Fred Hughes of Villa Rica; 4 grandchildren, Tyler Woods, Tatum McMillan, Aubrey McMillan and Amber McMillan; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at 11:00AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Revs. Eddie Allen and Herschel Armstrong officiating. Interment will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Douglasville, Georgia. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica on Monday, July 6, 2009 from 5:00PM until 9:00PM.
