Alfred Brittain

Mr. Alfred Ralph Brittain, age 71, of Douglasville, passed away Sunday, July 20, 2014. He was born October 7, 1943 in Waco, Texas the son of the late Mr. John Ralph Brittain and the late Mrs. Ella Gilland Brittain. Mr. Brittain served in the United States Army. He worked for Delta Airlines as a Line Supervisor for many years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two sons, Jeremy Ralph Brittain and Jeffery John Brittain; brother, Allen Ray Brittain.He is survived by his wife, Linda Martin Brittain of Douglasville; daughter and son-in-law, Kristie and Eric Moss of Douglasville; son and daughter-in-law, Jeremy and Christy Brittain of Douglasville; brothers and sisters-in-law, James Wiley and Rosemary Brittain of Douglasville, Gary Richard and Melanie Brittain of Douglasville; two grandchildren, Kira Moss and Michael Moss of Douglasville. Several nieces and nephews also survive along with his beloved pet, Stitch.The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Tuesday, July 22, 2014 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Wayne Jenkins officiating and Eulogy provided by Jeremy Brittain.
