Alfred Leonard Horne

Mr. Alfred Leonard Horne, 68, of Temple, Georgia passed away Sunday, November 25, 2007 at Tanner Medical Center in Villa Rica. Mr. Horne was born January 26, 1939 in Rock Hill, South Carolina; the son of the late Mayberry Horne and the late Lottie Blackwell Horne. Mr. Horne was a painter and a veteran of the United States Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughters, Vickie Nicoloan and Nicole Horne. Survivors include his wife of thirty-two years, Mrs. Deborah Harrell Horne; daughters, Janessa Dowdy of Logan, West Virginia, Tanya Horne of Beckley, West Virginia, Rhonda Gleichauf of Winder, and Denise Roberts of Temple; sons, Edward Horne of Conyers, and James Harrell of Temple; sister, Vinnie Bigham of Rock Hill, South Carolina; brothers, Tootie Horne, and Pete Horne both of Rock Hill, South Carolina; sixteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Georgia with Minister Allen Howard officiating. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens in Villa Rica. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica Tuesday, November 27, 2007 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
