Parker Adams

Allen “Parker” Adams, 45, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 5, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Parker was born on April 10, 1980, in Mountain Brook, Alabama, and is the beloved son of Allen Parker Adams (Peggy) and Cathy Barton Adams Holliman (Keith).

Parker graduated from Demopolis High School, continued his studies at the University of Alabama and pursued his career in Hospitality Management in K-12 and Higher Education for over 20 years. He was well known and loved for his kindness and going above and beyond for his students, faculty, staff and community members. Parker enjoyed beach trips with his family, spending time exercising, riding his Peloton, cooking for his family, playing with his four dogs. working on projects around the house, and finding joy in both relaxation and staying active. He will be remembered for the love he had for his family and the time he shared with those closest to him.

Parker was a devoted father to his daughter, Reese Adams, and shared a loving relationship with his girlfriend, Amy Baker. He also held a special place in the lives of his bonus children, Avery Ivey (Sam), Asa Baker, Alex Baker and his bonus grandchildren Everett and Beckett Ivey, who lovingly referred to him as “Paw.”

In addition, he is survived by his brother, Connor Adams of Austin, Texas, his nephew Elias Adams and niece Kelby Adams, along with many family members and friends who will cherish his memory and fun-loving personality. 

Parker was preceded in death by his grandparents Bill & Lottie Adams of Pensacola, Florida and Bill and Janice Barton of Demopolis, Alabama.

A celebration of life service will be planned at a later time.
