Allen Randy Plunkett, age 67, known to many as Allen Plunkett, passed away on June 19, 2026, at Tanner Medical Center in Villa Rica. Born on February 21, 1959, in Douglasville, Georgia, Allen’s life spanned 67 years, during which he formed lasting connections and left a memorable impact on those around him.
Allen was the beloved brother of Linda Skelton, Waco, Brenda Clark, (Joey) of Villa Rica, Sandra McMichael, (Robert) of Locust Grove and his brother, Alton Plunkett, (Robin) of Carrollton, who survive him and cherish his memory. His journey through life was shared not only with his siblings but also guided and shaped by his late parents, Iverson Louis Plunkett and Mildred Roberts Plunkett, whose legacy continues in the family. Allen was also predeceased by siblings Lamar Edwards, brother and Diane Brooks, sister, whose lives enriched the Plunkett family history.
Throughout his life, Allen loved the outdoors with fishing that brought him great comfort. He also enjoyed watching his TV shows when he was not in the outdoors. He also demonstrated a commitment to family values, fostering strong bonds with his sisters and brother. His presence brought warmth and a sense of continuity to family gatherings and daily interactions alike. Though the details of his accomplishments and personal pursuits are not specified here, Allen’s legacy is embodied in the enduring love and respect of his surviving family members.
A graveside service in remembrance of Allen Plunkett will be held at West Georgia Memorial Park, located at 4194 Carrollton Villa Rica Hwy, Carrollton, GA 30116. The service is scheduled for June 25, 2026, beginning at 11:00 a.m. Offering an opportunity for family and friends to honor his life and pay their final respects.
