Allen Thompson

Mr. Allen Dean Thompson, age 72, of East Point, passed away, Wednesday, July 20, 2016. He was born December 13, 1943 in Atlanta the son of Jerome Thompson and Mrs. Edith Mae Young Smith. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Jessica Lindsay and Trevor Motz of Knoxville, TN; son and daughter-in-law, Damon Patrick and Shannon Thompson of LaFollette, TN; sisters and brothers-in-law, Pamela Holt of Griffin, Angie and Ralph Cherry of Tyrone, Stacey and Daniel Hoffman of Newnan, Fran and Frank Barriett of Hampton; one brother and sister-in-law, Greg and Barbara Hand of East Point; one grandchild, Damon Thompson; several nieces and nephews also survive. According to Mr. Thompson’s wishes he was cremated. Inurnment will be conducted Monday, July 25, 2016 at 9:30 AM from the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton.
