Altameze Victoria Pendleton, age 66, affectionately known as Vicky, passed away on August 2, 2024, at her home. She was born on November 1, 1957, in Camden, New Jersey, to the late Mr. Luther Pendleton and the late Mrs. Jeanne Malone Pendleton.
Vicky lived a life full of love, laughter and dedication. She dedicated over 23 years of her life as a Nursing Assistant at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital, where her compassion and commitment touched the lives of many patients and colleagues. Her proudest accomplishments were undoubtedly her family and the meaningful work she did every day. In addition to her successful career, Vicky possessed a tough yet outgoing personality. Her sharp wit and super funny nature brightened the lives of those around her. She will be remembered for her love of watching movies and spending time with her grandchildren.
Outside of work, Vicky found joy in various hobbies and interests. She had a green thumb and found solace in gardening. A true foodie at heart, she appreciated good cuisine and the simple joys of sharing meals with loved ones. Vicky also enjoyed playing pool and was known for her skill at the game. Her talent as a seamstress was admired by many.
In addition to her parents, Vicky is preceded in death by 5 siblings.
Vicky is survived by her son, Darius Kagler and his wife, Kanika; daughter, Tanaia Nelson and her husband, James; grandchildren, Malachi, Kiarra, Tianna and Jaden; brothers, Lawrence Pendleton, Joe Pendleton, Luther Pendleton, Curtis Pendleton; as well as a number of nieces, nephews and extended family.
In accordance with her wishes, Mrs. Vicky was cremated.
