Alvin Conner

Mr. Alvin Grover Conner, age 82, of Villa Rica, passed away Monday, January 12, 2015. He was born April 10, 1932 in Carroll County, GA the son of the late Mr. Allen Grover Conner and the late Mrs. Eva Deaton Conner. He was a long time farmer and land developer. Mr. Conner was a member of Mt Pleasant Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother and four sisters.He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Essie Finley Conner of Villa Rica; daughter, Cynthia Conner of Villa Rica; two sons and daughter-in-law, Jerry Conner of Villa Rica, Brandon and Amanda Conner of Villa Rica; sisters, Lois Treadaway of Morrow and Geneva Razcko of California; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Pauline Conner of Florida; eight grandchildren, Rhiannon Peoples, Stephen Conner, Justin Conner, Brittney McGaha, Sydney Conner, Luke Conner, Joshua Conner and Ansley Conner, all of Villa Rica; three great grandchildren, Conner Peoples, Gabe Stookesberry and Brooklyn Conner, all of Villa Rica. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 15, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, January 16, 2015 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Dr. Douglas New and Rev. Ronnie Puckett officiating.
