Mr. Ambrose Lester Nalley, age 87, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Saturday, January 20th following an extended illness. He was born January 3, 1920 in Douglas County, Georgia the son of the late Mr. Thomas Lester Nalley and the late Mrs. Rilla Ann Land Nalley. He was of the Baptist Faith and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was retired from Ford Motor Company. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Mattie Music Nalley; sister, Mary Frances Gore and brothers, Glen Nalley, Ernest Nalley, Harold Nalley, and Grady Nalley. He is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Janet and Michael Jones of Carrollton and Lyn Molton of Temple; one son and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Pat Nalley of Douglasville; one sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Grady Womack of Dallas; one brother, Frank Nalley of Douglasville; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Wesleyan and Don Frostholm of Grays Lake, IL; 8 grandchildren, Keith Bryant of Douglasville, Lane Nalley of Carrollton, Melissa Ardoin of Douglasville, Jason and Lacey Nalley of Douglasville, Crystal and Wil Roberts of Carrollton, Andrea Molton of Carrollton, Matthew Jones of St. Petersburg, FL and Kyle Jones of Carrollton; 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, January 23, 2006 from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Vincent officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens with Mr. Nalley’s grandchildren serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel Monday, January 22nd from 1:00 to 4:00 and from 6:00 to 8:00.
