Amy McWilliams Griggs, age 46, of Douglasville, passed away, November 25, 2017. She was born January 2, 1971 in Austell. Amy was a graduate of Douglas County High School. She was officially known as mom by young men in Douglas County, while being a team mom for years, while her son, Cody, played sports. Amy loved cooking, Christmas, her puppies and was a family oriented person full of life. Preceded by: Maternal Grandparents Ray and Kitty Thompson. Paternal Gee & Rose Trawick, Uncle David Thompson, Cousin Jeff Thompson, and the love of her life Chip Griggs.Surviving are her Parents Linda and James Trawick, son Cody Thyle Griggs & fiancé Kristen Von Pelser. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Monday, November 27, 2017 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Happy Howard officiating. Interment will follow at Prays Mill Cemetery.
