Amy Ruth Herrin Fuller

Mrs. Amy Ruth Herrin Fuller, 90, of Powder Springs formerly of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2006 at Portsbridge Hospice in Austell. She was born October 17, 1915 in Carroll County, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. Samuel Moses Herrin and the late Mrs. Emma Lee Hackney Herrin. She married John Thomas “J.T.” Fuller on October 17, 1931 in New Georgia. She was a member of White Oak Springs Baptist Church. She was a seamstress for Camp Cap Company. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James “J.T.” Thomas Fuller; son, Samuel Thomas Fuller; sisters, Euretha Fuller, Zema Howard, Grace Herrin, Zelma Herrin; brothers, Paul Herrin, Willie Grissom Herrin, Bernard Herrin, and Carl Herrin. She is survived by three grandchildren, Patricia and Joel Fortenberry of Powder Springs, Joni Petty of Lithia Springs, Kenneth and Twana Worthan; 7 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, February 2, 2006 at 2:00 PM from the Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel with Brother Joel Fortenberry officiating. Musical selections will be rendered by Bryan Lawrence and Ken Duncan. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens in Villa Rica with Brother Casey Fortenberry officiating.
