Andrea Perkins York

Andrea Perkins York, age 76 of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2023. She was born June 29, 1946 in Atlanta, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Thomas Perkins and the late Mrs. Melba Schultz. Mrs. York had a special love for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Reading and having conversations was a favorite past time of hers. She loved going out to eat and especially loved desserts and Irish coffee.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Mr. Tom York; grandchild, Blake Goforth; brother, Ricky Puckett.

She is survived by her daughter, Teresa (James) Crook of Villa Rica, Georgia; son, Mickey (Ellen) Goforth of Winston, Georgia; sister, Betty Nell Cullum of Bethel, Florida; brother, Kenneth Puckett of Royston, Georgia; grandchildren, Adam Babb, Austin Babb, Justin Goforth, Jesse Crook; great grandchildren, Tatum Babb, Brie Babb, Blake Goforth, Shane Goforth; and several nieces and nephews.

According to Mrs. York’s wishes she was cremated. Family previously held a private service at their home.
