Andrew Dobbs

Mr. Andrew Clifford Dobbs, age 92, of Villa Rica, passed away, Tuesday, December 22, 2015. He was born October 17, 1923 in Campbellton the son of the late Mr. Oliver Clifford Dobbs and the late Mrs. Florence Wilson Dobbs. He worked as a heavy equipment operated for many years. Mr. Dobbs was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Temple. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Wilson Dobbs; brother, Don Dobbs; sister, Clara Brown. He is survived by one son; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sybil Herron of Villa Rica, Dennis and Gerald Criswell of Villa Rica, Peggy and Lamar Hembree of Villa Rica; brothers and sister-in-law, Marvin and Helen Dobbs of Villa Rica, A.J. Dobbs of Villa Rica, Randy Dobbs of Villa Rica; sister-in-law, Melba Dobbs of Villa Rica; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Saturday, January 2, 2016 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Memorial Services will be conducted Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Gardner officiating.
