Andrew Don Holland

Mr. Andrew Don Holland, age 74, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Saturday, March 8, 2008 at Wellstar Douglas Hospital. He was born April 30, 1933 in Ballinger, Texas the son of the late Mr. Horace Holland and the late Mrs. Beulah Killingsworth Holland. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He married Margaret Alyne Burgess on January 17, 1953 in Dallas, Texas. Mr. Holland retired as a regional credit manager from Sherwin-Williams. He was a member of Four Square Gospel Church and attended West Metro Church of God in Douglasville. He owned and operated Wood-N-You Craft Company. He enjoyed crafts, traveling, and watching college football and the Price is Right. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Margaret Alyne Holland of Douglasville; daughters and sons-in-law, Andrea and Mark Cagiano of Douglasville, Kellie Hunter of Douglasville, Karlene and Dennis “Sandy” Hinton of Acworth; sister and brother-in-law, Bertha Marie and Archie Thomas of Brownwood, TX; brother, Glenn Holland of Ballinger, TX; 6 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at 1:00 PM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Pastor Glenn Rountree officiating. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens in Villa Rica. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Monday, March 10, 2008 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
