Angelina Maria Moretti Schival

Mrs. Angelina Maria Moretti Schival “Grandmom Jule”, age 100, of Lithia Springs, Georgia, passed away Monday, March 14, 2011 suddenly at her residence. She was born March 8, 1911 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Mr. Angelo Moretti and the late Mrs. Rose Dippolito Moretti. She was a devout member of the St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Lithia Springs where she enjoyed volunteering and serving. She was a homemaker and devoted to her family. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas Schival. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Joseph A. and Pat Schival of Lithia Springs; brother and sister-in-law, Dominic and Lillian Moretti of Gainesville, FL; four grandchildren and their spouses, Joseph and Terri Schival of Douglasville, Andrew and Julia Schival of Roswell, Jim and Cindy Schival of Alpharetta, and Tim and Mary Schival of Tampa, FL; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 10:00 AM from St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 1920 Skyview Drive, Lithia Springs, Georgia with Father Gregory Hartmayer officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Douglasville. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Friday, March 18, 2011 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a rosary service at 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in memory of Mrs. Schival to St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 1920 Skyview Drive, Lithia Springs, Georgia 30122.
