Anita Dial Smith

Anita Dial Smith, age 58 of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away on Saturday morning July 31, 2021. She was born on October 9th, 1962 in Homerville, Ga. She was a 1980 Ware County High School graduate. She worked at CNS/Nations Bank for 14 years and then realized her passion was in teaching. She taught for 22 years in pre-k, 1st grade, 2nd grade and found her home in Kindergarten at Winston Elementary. Her Saturdays were spent at church filling up boxes of food and handing them out to families in need, that she found through partnering with a local school. She loved her church family and enjoyed helping organize Senior Valentine Dinners and anything else that came to her just to make people feel loved and a part. She was also known as the yard sale organizing queen and many will remember her as "Sweet Anita." She was ready to organize any fundraiser or church dinner, give to anyone in need and pray for anyone that God laid on her heart. She is preceded in death by maternal grandparents Sherman & Jaunita Minter, paternal grandparents Benjamin and Beulah Mae Dial and father-in-law Billy Smith. She is survived by her father and mother, Donald and Brenda Dial, her husband, Eddie Smith, two daughters, Breanna Dukes (Brent) and Jessica Smith plus two grandchildren Benson Dukes and Alliana Dukes. Her brother Tim Dial (Amy) and niece Holly Moncreif (Joe), nephews Evan Dial (Rachel & Hudson) and Landon Dial. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Shirley Smith, brother-in-law Gregg Smith, sister-in-law Wanda Smith and niece Alyssa Smith. As well as, numerous Aunts, Uncles and cousins. She was a loving and devoted wife, involved and supportive mother, fun-loving NiNi, a thoughtful, kindhearted daughter and a sweet and faithful friend. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Villa Rica Tuesday, August 3, 2021 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at 11:00AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Villa Rica with Reverends Rob Hutto, Dannie Hix and Adam Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Meadowbrook Memory Gardens on Hickory Level Road in Villa Rica, Georgia. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.jones-wynn.com.
