Anne Marie Kofman

Anne Marie Kofman, 82, passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2023. She was born on July

10, 1941 in Milwaukee, WI. She is the daughter of the late Donald James Wisbaum and the late

Bernice Marie Wisbaum.

Anne graduated from Iowa State University in 1963 with a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring

in Dietetics. After college, Anne moved to Berkeley, CA where she met and married Rijkent

Kofman (NL). Anne and RijK lived in Northern CA and had one son, Rykent Kofman.

Anne worked as a Dietary Consultant for over 40 years. For a good portion of her career, she

worked at convalescent homes across Northern CA designing nutritious daily meals for the

residents.

Anne was a talented artist and shared her “Art from the Heart” with friends and family. She

loved being adventurous. As an avid skier she would spend many of her winter weekends in

Lake Tahoe, CA. Anne also enjoyed scuba diving going as far as Tahiti where she swam with the

sharks. She was even known to put on a pair of rollerblades time to time.

Anne moved from CA to Villa Rica, GA in 2002 where she could spend every day looking out

across a beautiful lake from every window in her house. She enjoyed being by the water,

whether reading, writing, boating, kayaking, or going for a swim.

Anne is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Kent and Stephanie Kofman of Hermosa

Beach, California; sisters, Kay Wyckham of Victoria Island, Canada and Joan De Lillo of Sun

City, Arizona; grand-daughters, Alexis, Karley, Savannah and Kasaty; her life partner, Rudy

Jacobs of Villa Rica; several nieces and nephews.

According to her wishes, she will be cremated. Anne was of the Presbyterian faith. There are no

further arrangements at this time.
