Archie Armstrong

Mr. Archie Armstrong, Jr., age 84, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Saturday, October 21, 2006 at Wellstar Tranquility Hospice. He was born December 21, 1921 in Texarkana, Arkansas the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Archie Armstrong, Sr. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He retired as a Pharmacist. He was very active in the Douglas County Senior Citizens and he especially enjoyed the annual Senior Citizens Picnic. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Kennedy Armstrong of Douglasville; one daughter, Patricia Armstrong of Lake Lanier; one cousin, J.P. Butler of North Carolina. Memorial Services will be conducted Sunday, October 29, 2006 at 1:00 PM from the Alpha Fowler Community Room in Douglasville with Rev. Ron Runner officiating.
