Arnell Culberson

Mrs. Arnell Joan Daniel Culberson, 70, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018. She was born July 10, 1947 in Etowah, Tennessee the daughter of the late Mr. Binom Lee Daniel and the late Mrs. Beulah Ella Rucker Daniel. She married James Culberson, Jr. on May 9, 1964 in Etowah, Tennessee. She worked for the Douglas County Board of Education in the lunchroom. She was of the Baptist Faith and had a deep love for the Lord. Devoted to her family, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Jerry Daniel and James Daniel. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, James Culberson, Jr. of Douglasville; one son and daughter-in-law, Clyde and Aileen Culberson of Dallas; three daughters and sons-in-law, Jane and Andre Colson of Morrow, Mary and Dennis Payne of Attalla, AL, and Tina Fowler of Douglasville; three sisters, Joyce Hall of Temple, June White of Etowah, TN, and Jean Culberson of Dallas; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Joe and Geneva Daniel of Madisonville, TN and Jack Daniel of Winchester, KY; fourteen grandchildren and their spouses; eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Saturday, April 14, 2018 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, April 15, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Dennis Payne officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. The following will serve as pallbearers: Daniel Payne, David Payne, Darrin Payne, Daniel Vaszuez, Cole Moore, and Zeb Coleman.
