Arnold Lee Burke

Mr. Arnold Lee Burke, 79, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Friday, July 16, 2010 at Douglasville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness. He was born January 27, 1931 in Helen, Georgia the son of the late Mr. Charlie Burke and the late Mrs. Martha Twitty Burke. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a truck driver. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Mildred Chappell Burke and daughter, Kathy Busby; and brother, Arthur Burke. He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Burke of Douglasville; son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Becky Burke of McDonough; one grandson, Brandon and Paige Burke; two great-grandchildren, Ella and Reagan. Graveside Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, July 17, 2010 at 4:00 PM at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Douglasville. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
