Arthur William Benz

Arthur William Benz, affectionately known as "Artie," 72, of Villa Rica, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 15, 2026. He was born on August 28, 1953, the son of the late Carl J. Benz and the late Frances Darlene Carder Benz.

Arthur lived a life rich in warmth, dedication, and quiet accomplishment. He leaves behind a legacy marked by devotion, hard work, and an unwavering love for his family

Arthur was a great husband, a devoted dad, and a cherished brother. Throughout his life, he provided well for his family, tirelessly ensuring their wellbeing and happiness. Family was the center of his world, with an especially profound bond shared with his two boys, who meant everything to him. He had a heart of GOLD.

A hard worker by nature, Arthur embraced challenges with determination and sincerity. His love of learning inspired those around him, as he continuously sought to broaden his knowledge and deepen his understanding of the world. Outside of his family and career, Arthur was a believer in Christ and he found joy in collecting model trains, a hobby that reflected both his passion for detail and his appreciation for craftsmanship.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Alexander William Benz; brother, Darrell Benz.

He is survived by his loving wife Annette Romano Benz; son and daughter-in-law, Adam and Hunter Cheyenne Benz ; grand-daughter, Madeline Ivy Benz; one niece and 6 nephews.

The family will have a celebration of life service at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel on Friday, June 12, 2026 at 1:00 PM.

Arthur William Benz’s memory lives on in the hearts of those who knew him and loved him. His unwavering commitment to family, his generous spirit, and the quiet strength he demonstrated throughout his life will be deeply missed but fondly remembered. He leaves behind a lasting imprint of love, dedication, and authenticity that will continue to inspire.
