Arthur Leon Strength

Arthur Leon Strength, 77, of Lithia Springs, Georgia passed away Friday, February 12, 2010 at his residence. Mr. Strength was born February 16, 1932 in Birmingham, Alabama the son of the late Mr. William Thomas Strength and Mrs. Jessie Leon Yielding Strength. Mr. Strength was a retired Bus Driver for Georgia Highway Express. He enjoyed bowling, collecting tinker bells, and loved his family dearly. Mr. Strength was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Angelia Kellie Strength, and his brothers Eugene, Albert, Fred, James, Bill, Edward and Charles. Survivors include his wife Mrs. Dorothy Tucker Strength of Lithia Springs and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Georgia with Pastor Barry Gillis officiating and Minister Clyde McGee offering the eulogy. Interment will follow in College Park Cemetery in College Park. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville on Monday, February 15, 2010 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
