Barbara Ayers

Mrs. Barbara Ann Young Ayers, 60, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2015. She was born March 11, 1954 in Cherokee County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. Johnny Columbus Young and the late Mrs. Nancy Frances Amos Young. She worked as a group leader at Sony and as a Line Leader at Nioxin Research. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, David Young; sisters, Mary Lou Busby and Josephyn Young. She is survived by her husband, James Ronald Ayers of Villa Rica; three sons and daughters-in-law, Jacob Allen and Lesley Ayers of Canton, Joel Anthony and Stephanie Ayers of Villa Rica, and Jared Carl and Rachel Ayers of Roanoke, AL; sisters and a brothers-in-law, Brenda and Marshall Lentz of Villa Rica and Elizabeth and Jim Aycock of Fitzgerald; 12 grandchildren, Kayla Ayers, Brandon Ayers, Dakota Ayers, Ashtyn Ayers, Cassidy Ayers, Destin Ayers, Faith Ayers, Jaycee Ayers, Ashleigh Pfitzenmayer, Marissa Pfitzenmayer, Lauren Pfitzenmayer, and Ian Pfitzenmayer; great-granddaughter, Paisley Grace Tudela; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Wednesday, January 28, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Thursday, January 29, 2015 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Rev. Joey Vaughn officiating.
