Barbara Hall

Mrs. Barbara Juanita Moore Hall, 80, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2013. She was born February 18, 1933 in Hot Springs, North Carolina the daughter of the late Mr. Lewis Moore and the late Mrs. Chassie Thomas Moore. She and her husband owned and operated Hall’s Grocery on Chapel Hill Road and Anneewakee Road for many years. She was devoted to her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James David “J.D.” Hall, Sr., and son, Charlie M. Hall. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Tony Greene of Douglasville; son, James D. “Skipper” Hall of Carrollton; sister, Sandra Carter; brothers Lanny Moore and Royce Moore; nine grandchildren, Jonathan Greene, Daniel Greene, Barbara Greene Treadwell, Priscilla Greene, Heather Hall Kay, Deanna Hall Abercrombie, Charlie M. Hall, Jr., Chassie Hall, and David Hall; ten great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Friday, June 21, 2013 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 12:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Rev. Terry Marbut officiating.
