Barbara Hallock

Mrs. Barbara Louise Powers Hallock, age 80, of Douglasville, passed away, Friday, October 16, 2015. She was born March 31, 1935 in Nutley, NJ the daughter of the late Mr. Arthur Powers and the late Mrs. Margaret Breed Powers. Barbara was a beloved wife to Don for 60 years. She was a loving mother to Glenn and Lynn. She was a woman of faith and lived her life serving and blessing others through the church as they raised their family. She had a big heart and was generous, loving and caring. She will be missed greatly. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Glenn Hallock and sister, Jean Breed Newton. She is survived by her husband, Donald E. Hallock of Douglasville; daughter, Lynn Hallock Prescott and husband Jason Prescott of Douglasville; two grandchildren, Danielle and Carson Garriott and Jamie Prescott; nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Wednesday, October 21, 2015 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM. Memorial Services will be conducted Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at 6:00 PM from the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Stephens officiating.
