Barbara Jean Webb Butler

Mrs. Barbara “Bobby” Jean Webb Butler, age 71, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Monday, October 30, 2006. She was born March 17, 1935 in Douglas County, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. Dewey Edsel Webb and Mrs. Sarah Willard Cox. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and was a homemaker. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her husband, Mutt Butler. She is survived by two sons, Danny Butler of Douglasville and Barry Butler of South Carolina; her mother, Sarah Willard Cox of Douglasville; one brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Lois Webb of Douglasville; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, November 3, 2006 at 4:00 PM from Ebenezer Baptist Church on Highway 166 in Douglasville with Rev. Mike Powers officiating. Mrs. Butler will lie in state at the church from 3:30 PM until the funeral hour. Interment will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel Thursday, November 2, 2006 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
