Mrs. Barbara Hope Ewans Wood, 70, of Lithia Springs, Georgia passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Wellstar Tranquility Hospice. She was born December 1, 1945 in New Jersey the daughter of the late Mr. Richard Casmir Ewans, Sr. and the late Mrs. Gloria Claire Larsson Ewans. She was an Art Therapist, owning and operating her own antique and collectibles business, Fancies and Whimsies. She is survived by her husband, John James Wood of Lithia Springs; son, Erik John Wood of Lithia Springs; sister and brother-in-law, Virginia and Dave Anderson of Florida; brother, Richard C. Ewans, Jr. of New Hampshire; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Saturday, December 26, 2015 from 4:00 PM until 5:00 PM. According to her wishes, her body was cremated.
