Bart Potate

Mr. Bart Potate, age 40, of Rutledge Road, Temple, Georgia passed away on June 16, 2009 at Heartland Hospice in Cartersville. He was born on November 11, 1968 in Carrollton, Georgia, the son of Larry and Polly Potate of Temple. Mr. Potate worked as a supervisor for KBS Heating & Air. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his parents, Larry and Polly Potate of Temple, Georgia; daughter Amber Hawkins Potate of Taylorsville, Georgia; brothers and sisters-in-law James Larry and Donna Potate, Jr. of Temple, John and Peggy Craig of Barberton, Ohio, Ricky Craig of McDonough, Georgia; special friend Misty Hawkins of Taylorsville, Georgia; three nephews; several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 20, 2009 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, in Villa Rica with Dr. Corky Addison officiating. Interment will follow at the Asbury Cemetery in Temple, with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers; Corley Goldin, Darwyn Summerville, Lester Harmon, Tommy Scoggins, Brant Chandler, and Raymond Chandler. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 18, 2009 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Friday, June 19, 2009 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Villa Rica.
