Beatrice Brown Baggett, age 84 of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away September 17, 2016. A lifelong resident of Douglas County, Georgia, she was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Russell H. Baggett, parents Otis H. and Velma Boyd Brown, brothers Lamar and Billy Brown, and sister Ethel Brown Bedingfield. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Diane and William Studdard of Carrollton, Georgia, son and daughter-in-law Michael and Tamara Baggett of Atlanta, Georgia, granddaughter April Studdard Perkins and her husband Jason of Carrollton, grandson Russell Baggett and his wife Laurie of Atlanta, grandson Travis Studdard and his wife Erica of Bowdon, Georgia, granddaughter Rebecca Baggett Lopez and her husband Eric of Canton, Georgia, great-grandchildren Alex and Chloe Perkins, Kate and James Studdard, Micha Lopez, sister-in-law Dot Baggett Hamrick of Douglasville, and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of Ephesus Baptist Church in Winston, Georgia. Although she spent most her years as a full time wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she also worked earlier in her life at Winston Elementary School, the Douglas County Library, and with the family business, Baggett Construction Company. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 19, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, 2189 Midway Road, Douglasville, Georgia 30135. Funeral services will be held at the Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Douglas Chapel on Tuesday, September 20, at 2 pm, Dr. Billy Godwin officiating, with interment in Ephesus Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the missions fund at Ephesus Baptist Church, P.O.
