Benevis Dickerson

Mrs. Beverly “Benevis” Whatley Dickerson, age 81, of Dallas, Georgia passed away Friday, December 16, 2016. She was born July 16, 1935 in Milstead, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. Clarence Edward Whatley and the late Mrs. Ella Irene Parker Whatley. She worked as a photo tech at Myzell. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Hiram. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Marion Dickerson. She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Terrell Edward and Helen Reece of Alpharetta, Terry Jack Dickerson of Dallas, Jerry Mack and Rayanne Dickerson of Yorkville; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and Cline Morrison of Snellville, GA and Janice and Patrick Vinson of Jupiter, FL; grandchildren, Jennifer Murray, Jerry Mack Dickerson, Jr., and Terry Jack Dickerson, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Scott Murray, Jr. and Talia Murray; niece, Darlene Barnwell; nephews, Cliff Head and David Vinson; several cousins and extended family also survive. Graveside Services will be conducted Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 11:30 AM at the College Park Cemetery in College Park. Messages of condolence to the family may be sent at www.jones-wynn.com.
