Benny Jackson

Benny Jackson, 84, of Douglasville, Georgia passed on January 13, 2022. He was born on April 20, 1937. He is the son of the late Rufus Jackson and the late Ilean Reed Jackson. Mr. Jackson worked as an appliance salesman for many years. He was always a character and was very involved in politics from a country view. He loved old fashion cars and good country food. He was just a good ole country boy. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Garland Jackson and his sister, Martha Shaw. He is survived by his daughter Pam and Bob Stevenson of Douglasville; sons, Ricky and Christine Jackson of Dallas, Georgia, Kenneth and Vicky Jackson of Carrollton; sister Rose and Gary Kirk of Bigelow, Arkansas; grandchildren, Murdock Jackson, Keith Jackson, Adam Blakney, Derek Jackson, Kacey Diamond; several great grandchildren also survive. According to Mr. Jackson's wishes is was cremated.
