Bessie Allene Whitworth Swafford

Mrs. Bessie Allene Whitworth Swafford, age 80, of Dallas, Georgia; passed away Saturday, March 24, 2007 at her residence. She was born July 20, 1926, in Paulding County, Georgia; the daughter of the late Mr. Warner Whitworth and Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Guess Whitworth. She was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Grover Willard Swafford. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-laws, Douglas and Joyce Swafford of Dallas, Georgia; Jerry Swafford of Dallas, Georgia; and Donald and Sonya Swafford of Villa Rica, Georgia; her sister, Willie Mae Morris of Woodland, Alabama; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Georgia with Rev. Glenn Morrow and Rev. Stephen Peeples officiating. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery. The following will serve as pallbearers: Kevin Swafford, Brandon Swafford, Orell Garner, Mark Milam, Herbert Morris, and Terry Bell. Honorary pallbearers are Ralph (Buster) Pugh and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, on Monday, March 26, 2007 from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica is in charge of arrangements.
