Betty H. Karr

Mrs. Betty H. Karr, 75, of Lithia Springs, Georgia passed away Friday, May 12, 2006 at Portsbridge Hospice in Austell. She was born June 26, 1930 in Haralson County, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. Alonzo Hudgins and the late Mrs. Ethel Campbell Hudgins. She was of the Baptist Faith and worked as a dry cleaning clerk. She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed traveling to Walt Disney World and the beaches of Florida. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband J.W. Karr. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and Bill Gouge of Douglasville, Nita and Gordon Anderson of Monroe, and Dena and John Allen of Douglasville; three sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Ann Karr of Lithia Springs, Forrest and Claudia Karr of Douglasville, and Monte and Rebecca Karr of Douglasville; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at 12:00 Noon from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Dr. Orin Sampson officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, May 15, 2006 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Mrs. Betty H.
