Betty Mason Miller

Mrs. Betty Mason Miller, age 71, of Nicholson, Georgia, formerly of Marshall Fuller Road, Dallas, Georgia, passed away June 9, 2009 at the Athens Regional Medical Center. She was born August 16, 1937 in Haralson County, Georgia the daughter of the late Frank and Inez Mason. She was retired from the Paulding County Board of Education where she worked in food service. She was a member of the Nicholson Holiness Church. She was devoted to her family and her church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Mr. Bernard Carl Miller, son Allen Miller, grandson Kevin James Smith, and sister Annie Mae Cheatwood. Survivors include her two daughters and sons-in-law Wanda and Rev. Doug Feaster of Villa Rica and Debra and Rev. Marty Smith of Nicholson, Georgia. One sister, Grace Thomas of Bremen; one brother and sister-in-law Luther and Rosie Mason of Buchanan; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services for Mrs. Miller will be conducted Friday, June 12, 2009 at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica with Rev. I.L. Smith, Rev. Doug Feaster, Rev. Marty Smith, and Sister Derenda Wood officiating. Interment will follow in the Melrose Hills Memorial Park on Highway 61 in Villa Rica.
