Betty Nash

Betty Nash, age 83, of Douglasville, passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2022. She was born July 4, 1939 in Athens, GA, daughter of the late Mr. Albert Brooks and the late Mrs. Pearlie Mae Brooks. Mrs. Nash loved the lord, reading her bible and singing gospel music. Mrs. Nash devoted her life as a homemaker, servant to her family, friends and Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Horace Nash; brothers, Felton Dove, Winford Thomas Brooks; sister, Leitha Gaines.

She is survived by her sons, Dennis and Rita Nash, Darrell Nash and Danny and Stacey Nash; sister, Tina Dove; brothers, Crawford Dove, Ray Dove and Nelson Dove; grandchildren, Lynn, Mike, Nathan, Lisa and Amber; eleven great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.

Family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville on Monday from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM. The funeral service will take place at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville. Interment to follow at Sunrise Memorial Garden.
