Mrs. Agnes Malinda “Betty” Lee Robinson, 75, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017. She was born March 29, 1942 in Buchanan, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. Troy Lee and the late Mrs. Ruth Odilly Summerville Lee. She retired as a seamstress with Lafitte Textile. She was of the Baptist Faith. Devoted to her family, she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved them all dearly. She was an amazing cook and enjoyed showing her love to family through her homecooking. She enjoyed fishing, but most of all she enjoyed a good laugh. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Pearl Winkles; and a brother, Charles Horton. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Darry Payton of Roopville and Jenny and Jamie Gilchrist of Temple; son and daughter-in-law, Robbie and Georgette Robinson of Villa Rica; brothers, Billy Lee of Carrollton and Ralph Lee of Newell, AL; five grandchildren, Stephanie McGhee, Abby Messer, Aaron Robinson, Jessica Gilchrist, and Nikki Rios; great-grandchildren, Stella McGhee, Maggie McGhee, Payton Messer, Peyton Harris, Jaymie Rios, Grant Rios, and Elliot Rios; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Tuesday, August 22, 2017 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Pastor Shae Tallent officiating. Interment will follow at New Brooklyn Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Mickey Lee, Ricky Lee, Jamie Gilchrist, Wayne Winkles, Michael Bradley, and Randy Tallent.
