Betty Sanders

Mrs. Betty Jean Sanders, age 74, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Sunday, April 27, 2014 at her residence. She was born June 9, 1939 in Anniston, Alabama the daughter of the late Mr. Dewey Morgan and the late Mrs. Lena Pruitt Morgan. She was of the Baptist Faith and worked as an Assembly Leader at Robert Bosch. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Glenn Sanders; daughter, Connie Sanders; and sister, Mable. She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Tina and Larry O’Donald of Temple and Cathy Sanders Pettit of Douglasville; one son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Lucinda Sanders of Temple; seven grandchildren, Joey, Jason, Joshua, Austin, Nicole, Alisha, and Shannon; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Wednesday, April 30, 2014 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Graveside Services will be conducted Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 3:00 PM EST at Regan Chapel Cemetery, 3239 Ragan Chapel Rd, Ohatchee, AL 36271.
