Betty Stonecypher

Mrs. Betty Lee Stonecypher, age 64, of Douglasville passed away Thursday, July 21, 2011 at Triumph Specialty Hospital in Rome. She was born February 12, 1947 in Dallas, the daughter of the late Mr. Clinton Ira Shelton and the late Mrs. Leler Inez Vaughn Shelton. She was a homemaker who loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son James Randell Stonecypher and one sister Joyce Hallmark. She is survived by her husband James Stonecypher of Douglasville; daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and Jimmy Kimmons of Paulding County; son and daughter-in-law, James Gregory and Melissa Stonecypher of Dallas; sister, Barbara Stonecypher of Douglasville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Evelyn Shelton of Paulding County, Gene and Lander Shelton of Douglasville, Kenneth and Doris Shelton of Paulding County; five grandchildren, Jamie Kimmons, Ashley and Jason Kitchens, Kadence Stonecypher, Gabrielle Stonecypher, Payton “BP” Stonecypher all of Paulding County; one great-grandchild, Matthew “Jethro” Kitchens of Paulding County. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, July 23, 2011 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Rev. Greg Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Powder Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Friday, July 22, 2011 from 12:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
