Mrs. Beverly Bridges Belk, age 76, of Lithia Springs, passed away Friday, January 5, 2024. She was born September 4, 1947 in Atlanta, GA to the late Mr. James Bridges and the late Mrs. Thelma Bridges.
One of her greatest joys in life was going out to eat. Time and time again, she would find herself at Bankhead Diner and various Mexican restaurants where she would always order a sprite alongside some cheese dip. Beverly's passion for food brought people together and created cherished memories shared by those fortunate enough to join her at the table. Anyone who knew Beverly could attest to her love for all things sparkly. Her adoration for blingy jewelry was undeniable. Beyond her hobbies and interests, Beverly was an esteemed member of the Hudson Car Club. Though we mourn the loss of such an exceptional individual, let us also celebrate the joyous moments shared with Beverly during her time among us. She leaves behind cherished memories that will continue to inspire and uplift those who were fortunate enough to have crossed paths with her.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. James Michael Belk.
She is survived by her closest friends, Cheryl Stanley (John Dougherty), Linda Theus (Jon), and Jessica Larson.
According to Beverly's wishes she was cremated. A celebration of life will be held at Bankhead Diner on Sunday, February 18, 2024 at 3:30 PM.
Messages of condolence may be sent to www.jones-wynn.com. Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Inc. and Crematory of Douglasville is in charge of the arrangements.
