Beverly Nunz

Mrs. Beverly Nunz, age 69, of Douglasville, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2024. She was born December 26, 1954 in Atlanta to the late Mr. Vester Stilley and the late Mrs. Ruth Blanks

Throughout her life, Beverly found great joy in her work, where she had the opportunity to connect with and assist others. Her compassion and empathy touched the lives of many, making her a cherished figure in her community. Beverly's commitment to helping people was truly admirable, especially with her 29 years of cosmetology at Great Clips. Beverly left a lasting impact on all those she encountered. Apart from her professional endeavors, Beverly held a special place in her heart for the beach and her cherished cat, George. Family was paramount to Beverly, as she deeply missed her husband Dan and son Scott. Their bond was unbreakable, and memories of their time together will forever be treasured. Beverly's faith was an integral part of her life, as she found strength and comfort in her devotion to Jesus. 

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Daniel Nunz; son, Scott Helms; brother, Stephen Stilley.

She is survived by her step daughters, Cindy, Kathryn, and Tracey; step grandson, Nathan; step great grandchildren, Laiken and Jaxon; sisters, Mary, Betty (Carlous), Marie (Monte) and Sandra; brother, Johnny; several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn funeral home in Douglasville on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM. The memorial service will follow at 12:00 PM with Pastor Richard Barr officiating. Everyone is invited to join the family for a reception in the Jones-Wynn Family Room following the memorial service and a special thank you to Midway Christian Church in Austell for providing the meal.
