Billie "Bill" Bowen Brown

Mrs. Billie “Bill” Bowen Brown, 87, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Sunday, September 2, 2007. She was born March 12, 1920 in Carroll County, Georgia; the daughter of the late Carl Bowen and the late Annie Karr Bowen. Mrs. Brown was a homemaker and Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, Wheeler Brown; brother, Jack Bowen and two sisters, Marie Newnan and Elizabeth Farr. Survivors include her daughter and son in-law, Jan and Jesse Brown Leslie of Villa Rica; four grandchildren, Jessica Shannon Leslie, Janet Leigh Turner, Delaina Nicole Leslie, and Crystal Marie Crauswell, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, September 6, 2007 at 2:00PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, in Villa Rica with Dr. Billy Godwin officiating. Musical Selections will be rendered by Frank Gillespie. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Tuesday, September 4, 2007 from 7:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Wednesday, September 5, 2007 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
