Billie Jo Feyh, age 88, of Douglasville, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2023. She was born on September 20, 1934 in Matewan, WV. Daughter of the late Mr. Oliver Taylor and the late Mrs. Mary Taylor.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Donald Feyh; son, Ray Phillips, sisters, Jeanette, Lois Chrysler and Joyce Foister.
She is survived by her daughters, Dixie (John) Dest of Douglasville, Penny (Larry) James of Ohio, Sandy (Lee) Lindsey of Alabama; grandchildren, Sharon Mercer, Hank Foister, Eddie Foister, Donna Lindsey, Mark Lindsey, Gerald Foister, Carol Bess, Lisa James and Danny James; Several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Throughout her life, Billie Jo demonstrated a deep devotion to her faith. She found solace and wisdom in reading the Bible. One of Billie Jo's most cherished pastimes was crocheting. She created beautiful blankets, doilies, and quilts. Each stitch was crafted with love and care, resulting in pieces that will forever serve as a testament to her creativity and talent. Billie Jo had a special place in her heart for dogs and also enjoyed cooking and watching T.V.
Today, we celebrate a life well-lived, as we say goodbye to an extraordinary individual. Rest in peace, dear Billie Jo Feyh. May your spirit find eternal serenity in the embrace of heaven.
According to Mrs. Feyh's wishes, she was cremated. No services planned at this time.
