Billy Bracknell

Mr. Billy J. “Bill” Bracknell, age 81, of Temple, passed away Monday, September 30, 2013. He was born May 7, 1932 in Carrollton the son of the late Mr. Jesse Monroe Bracknell and the late Mrs. Myrtie Wallace Bracknell. He retired from Ford Motor Company after thirty years. Mr. Bracknell attended Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Jean Frost. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Morris Bracknell of Temple; daughters and sons-in-law, Vicki and Jose Lopez of Temple, Sherry and Bobby Dennis of Temple; sons and daughters-in-law, Terry and Cindy Bracknell of Temple, Danny and Ann Bracknell of Temple; sisters, Geneva Prichard of Bremen, Debra Langley of Bremen; brothers, Richard Bracknell of Temple, Wallace Bracknell of Temple; eight grandchildren; twenty one great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Wednesday, October 2, 2013 from 5:00 until 8:00PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, October 3, 2013 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Herrin and Pastor Sam Braswell officiating.
