Billy "Max" Blackmon

Mr. Billy “Max” Blackmon, 58, of Lakeview Drive, Bremen, Georgia passed away Saturday, February 11, 2006 at Northlake Medical Center in Tucker, Georgia. He was born December 25, 1946, in Cullman County, Alabama. He was the son of the late George Blackmon and the late Cora Sanders Blackmon. Mr. Blackmon was a Christian. He was self-employed in the maintenance industry. In addition to his parents, Mr. Blackmon was preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters. Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Terry Jay Phillips of Bremen and Stacy and Sean Bracknell of Bremen; three sisters and brother-in-law, Peggy and Rexford Teal of Temple, Inez Arrington of Cullman, Alabama and Lillian Jiles of Bremen; and 6 grandchildren, Eric Jay Phillips, Randi Phillips, Ryan Phillips, Molly Bracknell, Kendal Bracknell and Luke Bracknell. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, February 14, 2006 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Minister Tom Howard officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Gethsemane at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens on Hickory Level Road in Villa Rica, Georgia.
